Taking her Drivers Test

Gina couldn't wait to turn 16 years old so she could take her drivers test.   Her 16th Birthday was on a Sunday so she had to wait till Monday to take it.  I couldn't take time off from work so her father took her.  When she got back with the instructor she was very upset, he had FAILED her.  If kids fail their test they have to wait 3 days before they can retake it.  Gina talked with her Daddy and told him what streets and turns she took and that the instructor asked her to make illegal turns.  Cliff, Gina's daddy took the same route Gina did on her test with Gina in the car and Gina told her Daddy which way they went.  Cliff was so upset that a DMV employee made a 16 year old make illegal turns that could cause accident, not just one time but a few times.  Cliff got hold of the STATE and complained about the instructor so Gina got to RETAKE her drivers test the very next day.  Gina didn't know her Father called the STATE DMV and got her test for the next day.  She went camping for the night with some friends.  So I  went to find them where they were camping.  I took my Nephew Kenn, Gina's cousin with me to find Gina and her friends.  I must have drove for a long time.  I don't like driving where I'm not fimiliar with.  I got as far as a sign says TIMOTHY LAKE and I just said forget it.  I finally turned around and came back home.  Gina returned home and her Daddy told her what had happen and she was so happy.  So when DMV opened the next day myself and Gina's little Brother DJ took her there, with my CAMCORDER in my hand.  To make a long story short, Gina PASSED with flying colors and the new instructor couldn't figure how this young girl FAILED so bad the day before with such good driving skills.  She took her test in her Mommy's car which had ground effects on it and she knew she had to be careful or I would have her rear end.  She loves cars and love working on them.  I miss my little mechanic, I love YOU...LOVE ALWAYS MOM

Loving and Caring for others at a Young age.
When Gina was 2 years old almost 3 she had to have heart surgery.  She was a brave little girl, much braver then her mother.  She had her surgery and not long after that while still in the hospital she was playing in the kiddy play area.  She was going down the little slide and caught herself with her left hand which extened her arm which pulled her stiches, she cried a little but continue on playing.  Their was this little girl also playing and her name was Rachel and for some reason she gave up the will to live she just wouldn't eat.  Gina became her little Mother while in the hospital.  I would never leave Gina by sneaking out, I would be honest with her and to tell her to take care of Rachel.  So Gina would feed Rachel her food.  Gina got Rachel to start eating again and finally Rachel was released from the hospital.  Gina never seen or heard of her ever again.  But when they were together she HELP little Rachel out.  Gina cared for people like this the rest of her life.  She was so caring and loving to others.
Gina's Legacy
Gina's pride and joy is her daughter Megan. Megan is 8 going on 18. She's beautiful, very smart, speaks her mind, caring, funny and a beautiful imagination. (actually she's a "mini" Gina)... She will grow up
knowing how much her Mommy loved her and still does. Her Grammy (Barb) is the older version of Gina, what a beautiful gift they both possess.........God Bless
Learing how to put Studded Snow tires on
Barb and I got Gina a car on her 15th Birthday.  It was a little Toyota station wagon, but she couldn't drive it yet, Gina was too young.  I drove it around ONE YEAR before she could have it to herself.  In the mean time I wanted Gina to learn everything about a car .  So if the car quit she could fix it herself.  It was winter time and it was really cold outside and it was late at night.  I was driving her car back and forth to work and I told her to go and put the STUDDED SNOW TIRES on her car. Gina said NOW?  Barb (Gina's Mother) told me it was too late and too cold outside for her to be outside, she might get sick.  I said she has to learn how to put the studded snow tires on in bad weather too. Plus I had to go to work in the morning and I sure don't want to go out there, it's too cold.  I did hold the flashlight for Gina from inside the house, I was shining the light thru the window. Gina just laugh and yelled that her fingers were really getting cold. Gina was outside for the longest time but she did get them on.  I'M SO PROUD OF HER.  Gina loved working on cars, she did brake jobs, and she even but on an alternator when she was pregnant with her Daughter.  She turned out to become a good little mechanic.  She will always be my Little SweetPea.  I Love you and Miss you SweetPea  Hugs and Kiss Always  DADDY
